History

Riverwood Mall is uniquely situated on 6.3 acres along the placid waters of the Sauk River, this historic setting was once home to the former Lee’s Log Lodge whose cabin foundations are still present.

Lee’s Log Lodge was part of a larger complex of buildings known then as Woodland Lodge. This complex included many small cabins, a few out buildings, and Bricky’s – a speakeasy during prohibition – which is now home to the historic Anton’s Restaurant .

A restoration project is currently underway to return the Lee’s Log Lodge and surrounding area to its former beauty.  This undertaking includes re-creating picnic areas, trails and fishing piers which will be soon open to the public.
